Announcing Vtrail: A Secure Voice Journal, Now Available on Google Play
Product
Vtrail is now available on Google Play. A voice journal built from the ground up with your privacy in mind — because what you record in your journal should stay yours alone.
We are excited to announce that Vtrail is now available for download on Google Play. Vtrail is a voice journal app designed with privacy at its core — your recordings are protected end-to-end, and no one but you can ever access them.
Our App Store submission is currently under review, and we will launch on iOS as soon as it is approved.
Note: availability in France is coming soon, expected by the end of April 2026.
What Is Vtrail?
Vtrail is a voice journal app that lets you capture your thoughts, feelings, and memories simply by speaking.
Here is what Vtrail offers:
-
End-to-End Encryption: Your recordings are encrypted on your device before they ever leave it. This means only you can access them — not us, not anyone else.
-
Cloud Sync: Your recordings are automatically backed up to the cloud, so your entries are safe even if you switch or lose your device.
-
Cross-Platform: Available on Android now, with iOS support coming once the App Store review is complete.
-
Offline Support: Record your journal entries anytime, even without an internet connection.
Why We Built Vtrail
Online privacy has never been more at risk. According to Check Point’s 2025 Security Report, global cyber attacks increased by 44% in 2024 compared to the previous year. Data breaches are no longer rare events — they are an everyday reality.
In this environment, we asked ourselves: what kind of data deserves the most protection?
Many types of sensitive data deserve strong protection — financial records, medical history, personal communications. But one kind, we felt, had been quietly overlooked: a journal. A journal is among the most intimate records a person keeps — a place for your unfiltered thoughts, your private struggles, your precious memories. It should be the last thing exposed in a breach. And yet most digital journaling apps treat your entries like any other piece of user data.
We built Vtrail because we wanted to give everyone a safe space to record their daily life and express themselves freely.
Privacy and Security
Privacy is not a feature we added on top of Vtrail — it is the foundation the entire app is built on.
Privacy by Design: privacy decisions were made at the architecture level, before any code was written. We cannot access your recordings, nor can we use your entries to train AI models.
End-to-End Encryption: your recordings are encrypted using a key that only your device holds, before they are ever uploaded. Even if our servers were compromised, your data would remain indecipherable to any attacker — or to us.
We believe transparency is part of privacy. If you ever have questions about how your data is handled, we are always reachable.
