This Privacy Policy applies to the Vtrail mobile application, related API services, and the marketing website at vtrail.me (the "Service"), operated by Usermade, Inc. ("we", "us", or "our").
Information We Collect
We collect the following information: Account information (email address, password stored in encrypted form); Device information (language preference, OS version, app version) sent when you sign in or complete signup; Recording metadata (recording filename, encrypted recording title, recording date/time, duration, file size); Encrypted recording files; Temporary verification codes for email verification during signup (stored temporarily with expiration); Authentication tokens stored on your device to maintain login state; Anonymous access statistics on the marketing website only (no cookies, no personally identifiable information).
Purpose of Use
We use collected information for: Account creation and authentication; Cloud sync of your recordings; Service improvement and support; Anonymous analytics on the marketing website to understand usage patterns.
Data Storage
Your data is stored on cloud servers in the Japan region. Recording data is encrypted on your device before being sent and remains end-to-end encrypted. We retain your data until you delete your account. Recording data is physically deleted from our servers and cloud storage within 30 days of account deletion.
Third-Party Disclosure
We do not disclose your personal data to third parties.
Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data. To delete your account and associated data, use the account deletion feature in the app (password verification required). Account and Data Deletion
To request deletion of your account and associated data, you may use either of the following methods:
• In-app deletion feature (Account page > Delete Account)
• Email request: support@user-made.com
Please note that for email-based deletion requests, to prevent fraudulent deletions, account deletion will be carried out one month after the request is received. If the account is used during this one-month period, the deletion request will be cancelled.
Security
We protect your data using encryption for storage and secure communication (HTTPS). Your recordings are protected by end-to-end encryption so that only you can access the content.
Children
The Service is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
